World’s Largest NFT Metaverse Comes to New York City!
Alien Worlds showcases innovative NFT utility and competitive DAOs at NFT. NYC
The Federation will touch down on Planet Earth next week for what Coinbase calls “the Superbowl of NFTs” — NFT.NYC, June 20–23.
There are over eleven million NFT game pieces throughout Alien Worlds Missions, Mining, and Planetary DAOs, making it the world’s largest NFT metaverse. Therefore, it makes sense that we take part in the world’s largest NFT industry event.
Over 1500 speakers from 42 countries, 300 sponsors, and 15,000 expected attendees, will fill venues across Times Square in New York City. This year’s theme is “Diversity of NFTs”.
Alien Worlds Co-Founder Saro McKenna, along with The Sandbox’s Sebastien Borget, FTX’s Amy Wu, Co-Founder & CEO of Revolve Games, Jung Woong Park, CryptoStache, and Cagyjan, will discuss the ways in which gaming can successfully incorporate NFTs, on a panel Day 1 at Radio City Music Hall, hosted by Coinbase.
This is the place to be to learn about and explore the past, present, and future of NFTs. Though NFTs are certainly the stars of this show, the event is sure to also inspire forward-looking discussions on how NFTs fit into broader ecosystems. “All three types of tokens — fungible tokens, NFTs, and DAO tokens — are needed for a balanced and rich metaverse”, says McKenna. Indeed, the Alien Worlds metaverse features fungible tokens as well as millions of NFTs with utility and in-game functionality.
Since the launch of the Mining game, over 5.5 million NFTs have been bought, sold, or traded, by over 589 thousand unique buyers, amounting to over $40 million USD in total NFT sales. In 2022 alone, Alien Worlds NFTs have amassed over $4 million in sales, with an average 24hr sales totaling around $15 thousand (Source: Atomic Assets; Crypto Slam), making Alien Worlds one of the most popular use cases for NFTs in the world.
