It was only December 22, 2020 when Explorers began their travels through the Metaverse. At this three month mark, we have welcomed more than 55,770 explorers!
During the last 24 hours as of this writing, there were 13,836 active players (explorers).
Climbing the Charts
Alien Worlds continues to climb Dapp Radar’s charts. As of this writing, Alien Worlds holds these rankings:

Game Play: Mining
What are explorers doing in the game? Mining Trilium, the in-game ERC-20 currency, and game cards, which are NFTs on the WAX blockchain.
Explorers have mined 21,326,393 times during the last 3 months!
Planetary Leadership
Launched this month, Planetary Councils (DAOs) begin with the candidates registration for the positions of Planetary Councilors for each planet.
Each planet will have 5 councilors to start and a vote of 3 will be required for decision making. Explorers who have staked to a planet will have stake-weighted voting and will be able to vote for 2 candidates.
Election and proposal functionality will be released over time to the planetary councilors to manage their planets.
To date, more than 42 million Trilium has been staked across all planets.

About Alien Worlds
Alien Worlds is an NFT defi metaverse running on the Ethereum and WAX blockchains. The in-game currency — Trilium (token symbol TLM) — incentivises explorers to play games and must be staked to participate in governance.
