Tokens Travel Throughout the Metaverse

The Federation has discovered that Teleport technology has been very valuable to Explorers who have been using it to Teleport WAX tokens to Ethereum and to Binance Smart Chain. Along with a suite of smart contracts,Trilium and Alien Worlds NFTs are also being deployed onto the Binance Smart Chain (BSC).

How to Teleport

For information as to how to Teleport Trilium (TLM) tokens between the WAX and ETH or BSC blockchains, see the following article from the Metaversal Knowledge Base:

Why Teleport?

Although the purpose of the functionality is apparent… to teleport tokens… There is actually a deeper element to the Teleport technology. The Federation has not disclosed the bigger picture, but assures Explorers that it is part of a bigger mission. What will the future hold… ?!?! You just might find some clues here.

Frequently Asked Questions

During the first six weeks since Teleport technology was launched, some questions have arisen, which have been addressed by the Federation.

Cancelled Teleport Refunds

Explorers who have not claimed their Teleported Trilium (TLM) tokens, after completing the WAX to BSC/ETH Teleport 32 days or more ago, are entitled to cancel their Teleport.

Why Might an Explorer Not Claim Their Teleported TLM?

In some cases, the Explorer just wants to cancel the Teleportation trip. In other cases, the Explorer accidentally teleported TLM to the wrong blockchain.

Why Do I Need to Wait at Least 32 Days?

Teleporting requires blockchain oracles to sign the requests to make the claims available on the target blockchain. Once the claim is made available on the target blockchain, the oracles’ signatures are valid for 32 days. Canceling prior to 32 days from Teleport is not possible, in order to avoid multiple claims.

How Do I Cancel a Teleport?

Explorers wishing to claim their TLM from cancelled Teleports (32 days ago or more) can go to the Teleport page and find the option to Cancel their Teleport and reclaim their TLM. In order to facilitate the cancellation, you will need your Teleport ID number, which can be found on the original Teleport transaction log on Bloks. If you go into your own account and you do a search with “contract action” other.worlds, you may find the transaction.

Why Cancel a Teleport?

If you send your Teleport to the Ethereum blockchain (using the ETH token) instead of the BSC blockchain (using the BNB token) or, if you send your Teleport to the wrong address, or even the right address, and you do not claim it (due to high fees or otherwise), then after 32 days, it can be cancelled. See “How do I cancel a Teleport” above.

Teleport Pending for a Long Time

If your token transfer is pending for longer than a few minutes, it can be very frustrating. Typically it is resolved within minutes, but sometimes it does take longer, based on a variety of factors. If you feel that your token transfer has been pending for too long, please contact us at the Support bubble, so that we can inform the developers and ask that they review your situation and attempt to address it.

If your Teleport has been pending for 32+ days and you do not see an option to cancel the Teleport and reclaim the TLM, please contact us at the Support bubble, so that we can assist you and if needed, escalate your issue for further resolution.

Avoiding Errors

In order to prevent sending your Trilium (TLM) to the wrong blockchain address, please first make sure you are ON the right chain (look at the logo!) and make sure you are sending Trilium to the intended chain ETH or BSC.

  • Trilium (TLM on ETH) ERC20 token on the ETH blockchain
  • Trilium token on the Binance Smart Chain BEP20 (TLM on BSC).

Check that the correct chain’s logo appears before Teleporting. Please also make sure you send Trilium to your own ETH or BSC address, and not the smart contract address of the token on either ETH or BSC.

About Alien Worlds

Alien Worlds is an NFT defi metaverse running on the Ethereum, WAX and BSC blockchain. The in-game currency — Trilium (token symbol TLM) — was listed on Binance on 13.04.2021. TLM incentivises explorers to play games and must be staked to participate in governance. Planets within the metaverse are decentralised autonomous organisations which receive daily Trilium from the central metaverse smart contracts. Explorers engage through mining by acquiring and renting land, and voting for Planetary governance to impact Trilium payouts. The metaverse is extensible because Planets are independent and can offer their own games UIs and NFTs. Indeed, users are already doing this.
