Alien Worlds now covers more WAX CPU costs for new and existing Explorers

In order to improve RAM and CPU availability to current and future wallet users, the WAX team, creators of The WAX blockchain (Worldwide Asset eXchange) announced recently in an article that a 5 WAXP account creation fee is now required for all newly created accounts.

What this Means for Current AW Explorers

For current Explorers of Alien Worlds, the freed up RAM and CPU will likely come as a welcomed improvement. Ultimately, the update will result in a reduced need to stake WAX for wallet resources.

Prior to the update, Alien Worlds supplemented the WAX CPU of its users for 23 lifetime transactions. As of now, Alien Worlds is supplementing the WAX CPU costs of 25 transactions per day for every Explorer. Alien Worlds players on WAX will automatically start receiving these extra transactions from today.

Looking Ahead

Due to our on-chain construction, Alien Worlds usage data is freely available on chain. We are monitoring user plays to understand any impact of wallet changes on our users’ experience. Additionally we are actively developing ways to improve the Alien Worlds experience for Explorers and are evaluating a number of options, which include further increasing the number of free daily transactions in the near future for the benefit of Explorers’ Mining efforts, enabling you to thrive in the Metaverse.
