Player Experience Improvements: Release 2.2.0

Your experience just got upgraded with our latest release! We’ve improved the navigation system, making it easier for players to get started and switch between products. Enjoy smoother onboarding, effortless switching between activities, and status tracking with the new product drawer on mobile and top navigation on desktop. Enhance your gameplay and explore the alien landscapes with improved quality and convenience.

Mobile Navigation Updates

A collapsible sidebar with easy to navigate pages has been added to the mobile experience. In addition the burger menu button on the top left opens a screen that allows you quick access to the Mining, Governance, Missions and Landowner screens.

Mining Sub Navigation - We revamped the Mining screen to make the Tools, Land and Planets buttons more prominent and to include all of the elements of the Mining game on the same screen within the UI. You can also find a description of each section under the new navigation buttons.

Since the Tools button is the most commonly used button inside the Mining screen, we made it the first button featured.

Missions Sub Navigation - We updated the Mission UI so that all of the elements of the Missions game can be found within the Missions tab.

First you will notice a description of the Missions product. Second you will see a new wallet selection screen that has been updated to make it even more apparent as to your current Missions wallet preferences. Finally you will see the navigation buttons for the Missions Centre, My Missions and Missions NFT inventory. You will also notice that each of the three navigation tabs have their own color.

Left/Main Navigation - The following pages can now be found in the new collapsible Navigation Menu:

Mining (opens to last mining section interacted with)
Inventory
Shining
Missions
Teleport
Governance
Profile

Inventory Filters - An updated Inventory page allows Mobile players to quickly sort and filter your inventory.

Syndicate Menu Interaction - The Syndicate Menu was modified in the following ways for a better user experience:

The top bar now will load in the appropriate icon for navigation.
The Alien Worlds Logo is centered.
The screen fades in as the menu slides.
All other interactions remain the same.

WAX Resources - Your current WAX resource usage is now displayed as a progress bar. This battery like bar displays your current resource usage. The teal color indicates that you have used none of or only a small amount of your resources (10%). Yellow means that you have used a considerable portion of your resources (50%) and orange-red means that your resources have almost been depleted (80%).

Desktop Navigation Updates

A collapsible sidebar with easy to navigate pages has been added to the desktop experience. In addition, new buttons have been added to the top navigation bar. These buttons will open a dropdown menu for Mining, Syndicates, Missions and Landowner actions (if you own land)

New Mining Menu - A new collapsable Mining menu has been added to the top of the UI. You will notice that the Mining Reward button has been moved to the right side of the new menu. In addition, you can now view the following information:

Current Planet location
Current Land location
Land Multiplier
Current charge time
Mining Power
Pow Reduction
NFT Power

New Missions Menu - First you will be prompted to connect your chosen Missions wallet. Then you will notice that the new collapsible Mission navigation menu is similar to the new Mining menu only that this displays all of your Missions information. Including:

Leased Spacecraft
Mission Duration
BSC Trilium balance
Staked Trilium balance
Reward

To the right there are two buttons that will open your current Missions and your Missions Center.

Landowner Menu - If you own land then you will also have access to a new collapsible menu that is accessible from the Manage Land page. This menu contains a carousel slider for quick access to any of your owned Land plots. The following information can also be found in the Landowner Menu:

Land Coordinates
Commission
Land Rating
Boosts Active/Available
DTAL Claim button
Manage Land button
Set Land button

Sign Member Terms - If you are attempting to join a Syndicate and have not yet agreed to Member Terms a new dropdown menu will appear that asks you to sign the Member Terms agreement.

No Planetary Tokens/Vote Power Menus - If you as a player have not yet added vote power then a new dropdown menu will appear and allow you to easily add vote power. Similarly if you have Planetary Tokens but have not yet added vote power a new ‘Add Vote Power’ button will allow you quick access to vote power.

Manage Candidacy Menu - Council Candidates can now easily manage all aspects of their candidacy in a user friendly drop down menu.

Additional Features

Glossary Widget - Many elements in the UI now have a tooltip icon next to them. When they are clicked, a Glossary drawer opens up with basic information about that item.

Zendesk Integration into Glossary Widget - After checking that basic information about an item as mentioned before, it is also possible to click a ‘Show me more’ button, which will display the corresponding Zendesk/Medium article related to that item embedded inside the Glossary widget.
