Notification of Technical Change to the Alien Worlds Inflation Mechanism
The Federation is continually getting feedback, and advice, from experts and sometimes acts to make technical changes. Whenever the Federation plans to make technical changes we will endeavour to communicate the changes so everyone is aware.
In the next few days we will be making a technical change to the inflation mechanism. Please note this will NOT affect the amount of TLM released every day. The Daily Trilium Allowance to Planets (DTAP) and the Daily Trilium Allowance to Landowners (DTAL) will remain the same.
Currently the DTAP and DTAL is taken from the Vault.worlds account, which contains all the future inflation tokens that will be created, and distributed each day. Acting upon advice that it is preferable, to mint inflation rather than transfer it, the Federation plans to burn the contents of the Vault.worlds account and replace it with a daily mint of inflation tokens / game emissions. The amounts minted will be exactly the same as the amounts that would have transferred from the Vault.worlds account but now will use a more controlled mint process.
Users should see no change in their usage and the Federation would like to take this moment to ensure the community that this technical improvement will not be used to mint any more tokens than would have originally been minted.
