Greetings Explorers! December marks the seventh season of NFT Userpoints. Yes, the seventh! If you’re not familiar with NFT Userpoints, please read this article: A New Era Of Alien Worlds NFTs.
This season is dedicated to the launch of Battledome and, of course, the celebration of the winter holidays and the New Year — and we have not come empty-handed! There’s a fantastic selection of the Avatars, Minions, and Weapons that you’ll need in order to build your Battledome team and fight your way onto the leaderboards, earning some excellent rewards along the way.
Battledome is the evolution of conflict resolution on the Federation frontier. The concept originated on Naron as leaders grew tired of the neverending torrent of blood being spilled in pursuit of ownership of the great Lake Nyari. They got together and came up with a (mostly) bloodless way of determining annually which race could claim Nyari as its own: arena-bound war games!
The concept evolved over decades to not only include more general physical conflict resolution between aggrieved parties, but also became a hugely popular form of entertainment, drawing spectators from across Federation space. Today, Battledome City is the pinnacle of that evolution: an enormous space station orbiting Naron, constantly hosting matches and occasionally grand, sponsored tournaments — like the one soon drawing to a close with an eye-popping prize pool of 500,000 TLM, courtesy of the Federation.
