Alien Worlds at Game Developers Conference
Top Play-to-Earn Blockchain Game to Present and Exhibit at the World’s Largest Professional Game Industry Event
For the first time in two years, Game Developers Conference will host an in-person event, live at Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. The expo for the event begins Wednesday, March 23, and Alien Worlds will be there, equipped with a booth, commemorative gifts, limited free WAX Cloud Wallets, and more. In addition to a booth in the expo hall, Alien Worlds Co-Founder, Sarojini McKenna, will be presenting for the virtual portion of the event. With the event back in-person, and blockchain gaming having accelerated over the last two years, Alien Worlds is one of the first projects to represent blockchain gaming at the event
The conference includes an expo event, networking events, and a variety of lectures, roundtables, and tutorials by industry experts on game-related topics of audio, business/ management, design, production, programming, and visual arts. The event is one of the oldest and largest of its kind, having been first organized in 1988, now bringing in upwards of 30,000 attendees.
Attendees can stop by the Alien Worlds booth (P1847) Wednesday-Thursday: 10 am-6 pm | Friday: 10 am — 3 pm. A major focus for Alien Worlds will be educating attendees on blockchain gaming, NFTs, and DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations), with an emphasis on 2022 as “The Year of the DAO”. Dacoco, the company that created Alien Worlds, is an early developer of DAC/DAO architecture. Alien Worlds has in-game DAOs at its core, which encourage competition and collaboration with one another. Educating attendees on DAOs and how they will function in the game will be a central focus at the event.
Additionally, Alien Worlds will be onboarding users onto WAX and the Mining game with WAX Cloud Wallet.
